I haven’t made this recipe, but I have to say, I love shishito peppers.

It is so much easier to toss in a bowl with just a little high heat oil (grapeseed works well). Use you hands so it’s the least oil you need to barely coat them. Put them on a sheet pan, broil on high 3 to 5 minutes (second rack from the top in my oven) until charring some (watch them, it depends on your oven), flip, and in for another 3 to 5. Sprinkle with salt and all done, no batches.

I can’t say how it would work for the minis but a pint of shishitos would take no more than 2 tsp. of oil.

The dip looks awesome. I’ll comment after I’ve tried it.
